Core Responsibilities

As a caregiver with Osim Tov, you’ll take on varied and meaningful duties aimed at enhancing quality of life for our clients. These may include, but are not limited to:

  • Meal Preparation and Light Housekeeping

    • Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary needs.

    • Assist with dishwashing, tidying up living areas and minor laundry tasks.

  • Accompanying Clients to Appointments and Social Engagements

    • Escort clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, religious services or community events.

    • Provide emotional support and companionship during outings.

  • Errands and Grocery Shopping

    • Manage essential shopping tasks including picking up prescriptions, household supplies and groceries.

    • Keep clients organized with to-do lists or appointment schedules.

  • Personal Hygiene Assistance

    • Support clients with daily bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting needs.

    • Prioritize client dignity, safety and comfort during personal care routines.

  • Medication Reminders and Basic Administration

    • Ensure timely intake of prescribed medications.

    • Record basic health observations and escalate concerns when necessary.

All duties will depend on individual client care plans, which vary in complexity and requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

To succeed in this caregiver position, applicants must meet the following baseline qualifications:

  • English Fluency: Must be able to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken).

  • Criminal Record Check: A clean background check is required.

  • Minimum Education: Completion of Secondary School (or international equivalent).
